about me
ELIZABETH MAHAN
Since I was young I loved exploring the three dimensional puzzle of spatial design. I was drawn to interior design, but wanted to find a way to connect it with my passion for social justice. Growing up my parents wove a narrative of human rights and compassion into our upbringing, and this interest has lead to a focus on the importance of the built environment and our ability to thrive.

Over the last three years I have worked at MG2 in Seattle, where I built a conceptual and technical foundation in architecture and design, and developed professionally as a leader in the IIDA Northern Pacific Chapter. Through leading two IIDA community outreach projects in Seattle women's shelters I have seen firsthand the power of design, and believe we have the ability to make positive change in our community.
